Customisable promotional textiles and luggage: our marking techniques (part 1)
Le 15 avril 2014
Promotional textiles and promotional luggage are corporate gifts particularly appreciated by employees, customers or partners and offer an ideal communication space. Visible to all, these corporate gifts adopted by the recipients carry your logo, your contact details or your colours during the recipient's travels and leisure activities.
Depending on the material, the desired finish and the budget, a complete range of branding techniques can be used such screen printing, embroidery, transfer, flocking and more. Asap Marketing helps you see more clearly in order to find the marking that suits you.
Screen printing: faithful and durable colour
Screen printing is an ideal marking technique for textiles with excellent outcome and a good lifespan. The colours are reproduced with a beautiful finish while respecting Pantone references. Screen printing consists of depositing ink through a fabric or metal screen. The screen plays the role of a sieve in order to achieve the desired pattern.
Suitable for flat surfaces, this technique is suitable for marking textiles. This technique can also be used for marking bags or packaging. The colour result is faithful, however it is necessary to mark colour by colour with a maximum number of 4 colours.
Embroidery: a unique outcome
Compatible with all types of textile and bags, embroidery allows you to reproduce a scanned pattern on the fabric using computer-controlled embroidery stitches. It is possible to embroider up to 12 different colours with a large choice of colours. Embroidery provides an unrivalled elegant finish for marking a polo shirt, a towel, a cap or a suitcase.
Transfer techniques: screen printing, digital, flex
Ideal for printing images, photos or patterns with shades of colours and gradients, these different techniques meet the requirements of all fabrics with a complete range of effects:
Screen printing transfer:
Ideal for cotton textiles, this technique allows textile inks to be deposited on a silicone paper support before transferring them to the textile using a press at 180°C. With a faithful result, this technique offers excellent resistance. However, it is not suitable for nylon, fleece and woollen fabrics.
Digital transfer:
Similar technique, it is preferred for white or light cotton textiles; the pattern is printed on a special support before being transferred to the textile by press. Four-color reproduction guarantees faithful rendering.
Printable FLEX transfer:
With the flex transfer technique, the pattern is printed on a white vinyl sheet, cut into the desired shape and transferred with the press to the textile. This gives a cardboard effect to the touch.
Asap Marketing has the know-how to master your all types of marking. We are thus able to offer a customisation of a complete range of advertising textiles or luggage, whether they are intended for company employees, a client or a partner.
